Resolutions 2017

A resolution providing notice to the Board of Education of Madison Local Schools and to the Board of Lake County Commissioners of the Council’s intent to adopt an ordinance creating the “Water Tower Incentive District” pursuant to ยง 5709.40(C) of the Ohio Revised Code and declaring improvements to parcels within the District to be a Public Purpose and exempt from taxation, and declaring an emergency.

A resolution authorizing the sale of a 2011 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor which is obsolete and unfit for the use for which it was acquired, and declaring an emergency.

Resolution strongly opposing the State of Ohio Governor’s proposed 2017-2018 budget, which proposes centralized collection of net profit tax returns and other provisions related to the Municipal Income Tax which will cause a substantial loss of revenue needed to support health, safety, welfare and economic development efforts of Ohio municipalities, and declaring an emergency.
