As required by EPA, Madison Village tests our water supply for ‘disinfection byproducts” on a regular basis. We utilize a third party testing laboratory to analyze these water samples. During the second quarter of 2015 our third party laboratory mishandled our samples which invalidated the the test. This resulted in our failure to submit a valid test for that quarter. Most people are not aware that they own the lateral sewer line and the water line that run from the water main to their homes. That being the case, the homeowner is responsible for the costs associated with a break or a failure to those lines. These repairs can be very expensive.
