Madison Village Councilman
President of Council (2016-2018)

Ken is beginning his third,  four year term on Madison Village Council being initially elected in November, 2007 and again re-elected in November, 2015. He currently serves as President of Village Council; a position he has held since January, 2014.
He has been selected to serve as village representative on the Madison Fire District Board of Trustees and has been in that position the past eight years.
Ken also sits as chairman of the Safety Committee and as an active member of the village Finance Committee.
In cooperation with Mayor Sam Britton, Ken represents the Madison Village Council on various ad-hoc committees and serves as the formal representative of Village council to community activities.

Ken was educated in Willoughby, Ohio and is a graduate of Lakeland Community College with an AAS in Criminal Justice and Lake Erie College with a BS in Business Administration. He also attended the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland and completed a program in executive development in emergency management. He is a past faculty member of both Lakeland Community College and the Lake County Joint Vocational District.

Ken is active within the Madison community and is  a member of the Madison Senior Center, Madison Historical Society, American Legion Post #112, Friends of Madison Library, RRCAA, and Madison Food Bank.
He is currently Chairman of Board and President of the Painesville Credit Union, overseeing assets of $28 million;  providing leadership and financial oversight for over 4,000 members.

Ken retired as a Captain after a career of 32 years with the City of Painesville Fire Department. He currently resides with his wife, Anne, and their dog Sam in Huntington Woods.
As a father to 5 children and grandfather to 8, he enjoys time with family, friends, visiting wineries, and attempting to play golf.
