General Information

Located on the eastern border of Lake County in Northeastern Ohio, Madison Village is less than an hour from either Cleveland or Erie. A major interchange at Interstate 90 allows the Village easy access to the industry, shopping and tourist attractions provide in Lake and Ashtabula Counties.

Growth in Madison Village is proceeding in an orderly fashion. The Mayor, Village Council and Planning Commission continue to work diligently with local property owners. One area of interest is the interchange at Interstate 90 and State Route 528. Two fully improved commercial streets are now being developed. They include Watertower and Sidley Drives.


Madison Village is predominately a bedroom community with a historic town Center. Quiet and safe residential neighborhoods are complimented by an excellent school system.

Summer activities in the Village Square include Tuesday evening Car Cruise-Ins, Thursday night Concerts in the Park, Saturday morning open-air Farmer's Markets and the annual town celebration, Old Fashioned Days.
