  • John Hamercheck

    Madison Village Councilman

  • Duane Frager *

    Madison Village Councilman

Duane has been a proud Madison resident since 2004. He and his wife Alex conducted an extensive search when they decided to buy a home to accommodate their new and expanding family. They were attracted by every aspect including the school system, the neighborhood, the business community, the growth potential and of course, the people, who have all been nothing but positive to the entire family.
Duane graduated from Bowling Green State University with a BA in business administration and a minor in marketing. Duane was a member of AMA and president of Sigma Nu fraternity. After college Duane took a job with Nabisco Foods Group as a sales rep and later a key account manager. He had a brief stop at Cincinnati Milacron as a product manager with the Weldon Tool Co. before becoming the operations manager for Jergens Industrial Supply for almost 12 years. Currently Duane runs his own business in Madison as a financial planner.
The election cycle of 2009 was a wonderful experience for the Fragers on many levels. It gave Duane the opportunity to reach out to the people of Madison and understand that although there are many differences depending on what street you might live on, there are also many more similarities and common interests regardless of having an address in the Township or Village. This is the key to moving forward for the B.O.E., the Township Trustees and the Village Council. Duane quickly learned that these three bodies need to work together more now than ever given the conditions and challenges of the region.

Duane attends Parent Teacher Association (PTA), Parent Advisory Council (PAC), Parent Faculty Club (PFC), Madison Softball Association (MSA), Gridiron Club, Dyslexia Project, and many other group meetings conducted throughout Madison. The common themes, whether speaking to groups or individuals; Trust, Communication, Follow Up and Fiscal Responsibility are clear. Residents want to feel that they are a part of and have a say in their governing bodies.

*Mr. Frager was appointed to Madison Village Council on January 1, 2010.
