Please be aware that the Madison Village Road Department cannot pick up grass clippings or yard waste.

The Madison Village Road Department maintains roughly 15 lane miles in Madison Village.  This work includes snow plowing, street repair and line striping.  The Road Department also assists with waterline breaks and sewer line issues.  The Road Department takes care of landscaping and grass mowing for many Village-owned buildings and properties.  The department will also assist with burials at Fairview Cemetery, when needed.

In an effort to develop a comprehensive road program, all streets within the Village were inventoried and evaluated. Each pavement section was rated in eight separate categories. Pavement rankings were compiled and evaluated to give us a clearer picture of where the greatest needs are.  The combined ranking in the eight categories moves the pavement section with the most faults to the top of the list.  The list will be used to determine which pavement sections will be addressed as funding becomes available with higher ranking roads receiving attention first.

Below are two pictures of the concrete work recently done on Hyder Drive.  There is a section that was not completed due to valve replacements that need to take place.  Once the valves are replaced, that section will also be repaired.
